DVD Player
Question:
Where can I borrow a DVD player? Please note that all new desktop computers (2006 and later) have DVD Players in them and all classroom computers are hooked up to the television. Also, all projectors set up by the data center should have DVD/VCR players on the cart or attached to the mounted projector.
More information:Make sure one isn’t available in your building. Several buildings have them on a cart or can play them over the Cable TV system in your building.
A VCR is a available to be reserved from the Data Center. This needs to be hooked up to your television/VCR so make sure you have tried it before the time you are actually going to use it.
For reservations, please contact Kathy Snyder (x1022). Be sure to reserve it for the time you are going to actually have it (when you will pick it up and drop it off) not just for the short amount of time you will need it.
As the price of DVD players are getting lower, the hope is that future computer purchases will have DVD players built into them.
