Understanding E-mail

Question:

How e-mail is just like real mail:

More information:

E-mail is just like real mail

There is not really much difference between e-mail and real mail:

  • A lot of stuff you don’t want and just a few things you do want.
  • You write it, address it and send it.
  • You open it, you read it and you keep it or delete it.

    It’s different in that:

  • it has a subject line (and you should always use it!).
  • It’s faster: most messages get there is seconds (generally not much more than minutes).
  • It’s free (or it least it doesn’t cost you more per message or any more than just using the Internet).
