Question:
Where can I borrow a DVD player?
More information:Make sure one isn’t available in your building. Please note that all new computers (2006 or later) have DVD players in them (and most classroom computers are hooked up to the television).
Several buildings have them on a cart or can play them over the Cable TV system in your building. All carts supplied by the data center have DVD/VCR players on them.
A DVD player is a available to be reserved from the Data Center. This needs to be hooked up to your television/VCR so make sure you have tried it before the time you are actually going to use it.
For reservations, please contact Kathy Snyder (x1022). Be sure to reserve it for the time you are going to actually have it (when you will pick it up and drop it off) not just for the times you need it.
As the price of DVD players are getting lower, the hope is that future computer purchases will have DVD players built into them.
