I think I have a virus
Question:
Your computer is acting funny and you think it might be a virus.
More information:The first thing you should do is back up your files from the H: or the C: drive (in general your H: drive files were backed up last night). Make sure you have a copy of anything important from your computer.
You can run eTrust Antivirus by clicking the heartbeat monitor in your system tray or from your Start --> Programs menu (it may be in a folder titled Computer Associates). Then click which drives you would like to scan (H: for floppy, C: for hard drive, H: for your files on the server). You can then click the green triangle to start scanning and it will scan the drives you have selected.
If your computer is still acting strangely, restart and run the scan again, if you are still having problems please look at some of the other Technical Support Categories. Actual live viruses in the district are rare, they are generally stopped by the virus checking software before they infect the computer. South Redford has only had about a dozen computers infected in the past three years.
