Keyboard does not work at all

Question:

Cannot get the keyboard to work at all.

More information:

Please make sure the keyboard is plugged in (push it in all the way) and you have "shut down" the computer (power off) and turned it back on (do not "restart"). The cord may have just been pulled out a little.

Keyboards generally have a colored connector (but not always) and goes into the back of the computer in the same colored slot with a mouse icon next to it.

This document needs to be updated but the keyboard connector does look the same.

On a Dell purple is generally the keyboard (with an arrow pointing to the correct spot)

On a Compaq yellow is generally the keyboard (with an icon next to the correct spot)

These images are just samples, they may vary on the computer you have.

(Lost/stolen items are not to be reported, these are replaced at the building level).
